I can highly recommend Rachel’s bear patterns. I have sewn for many years but had never made a soft toy. These patterns are easy to download, the instructions and diagrams are super easy to follow . There is a great photo tutorial with each pattern which is very useful if you get stuck and there is a brilliant Facebook group where everyone is friendly and supportive.
