Description
Memory bear pattern: Betsy Bear
This is a paper sewing pattern to make a teddy bear. It is ideal to make a keepsake bear or memory bear. It will also look lovely made in fur. Your completed bear will be 34cm (13.5″) tall from bottom to top of head, 30cm (12″) wide from side to side and 22cm (9″) from front to back.
This pattern includes 6 pages of written description, photos of some of the more complex steps and 5 pages of pattern pieces.
I am an extremely experienced keepsake maker. I created this pattern to mimic the look of button jointed bears, whist being much faster to sew as the limbs are attached. The face has a muzzle to add character, and the paw pads are nice and big so they not only look cute but have plenty of room to embroider names and dates on.
There is a blog post with a photo of EVERY stage of the making process HERE
And there is a video to show you how to sew in the arms and legs HERE. Please note there is not a video of the whole making of this pattern.
I have a Facebook group for makers of my patterns tap HERE to join. I would love you to join and show your completed makes.
Your pattern will be posted to you 1st class within 1-2 business days, uk postage only.
Pattern printed on recycled paper.
The pattern is suitable for an intermediate level of sewer with a sewing machine. A full list of notions is below

Very pleased with my pattern. I am a relative beginner and did some parts of the pattern confusing but I eventually ended up with a very handsome bear that I am very proud of. Thank you.
