Description
Betsy Bear sewing pattern:
I created this sewing pattern to mimic the look of button jointed bears, whist being much faster to sew as the limbs are attached. The face has a muzzle to add character, and the paw pads are nice and big so they not only look cute but have plenty of room to embroider names and dates on. (If you would like to see a video of Betsy Bear scroll down for a video from my Instagram).
Betsy Bear size Your completed Betsy bear will be 34cm (13.5″) tall from bottom to top of head, 30cm (12″) wide from side to side and 22cm (9″) from front to back.
This download includes 6 pages of written description, photos of some of the more complex steps and 5 pages of pattern pieces. There is a blog post with a photo of EVERY stage of the making process HERE.
And there is a video to show you how to sew in the arms and legs HERE , there is not a video of the whole making of this pattern.
***This is a PDF download pattern only NOT a paper pattern, a keepsake, or a stuffed teddy bear ***

Love it’s cute face, nice pattern.
JoyBears- memories to cuddle- I made this Betsy bear for the first time and was really impressed with how it came together. Pattern instructions and photos were clear, and the finished product was fabulous. I have since made another one and customers have been very pleased. I would recommend this to other bear makers, both new to sewing and more experienced people. Enjoy!
